Hi. Thought I would join up on this forum and bask in the wealth of knowledge of these cars. I've been searching for a year now and finally found the right car. A 2002 XJR black on black and I absolutely love it. I think it's great that crushing depreciation has finally allowed more people to buy into these cars. Most people don't know what they're missing or are afraid of the Jaguar "reliability". But me being a car nut, I don't mind getting my hands dirty and working on my own car.
Oh! And just turning 22 a few months ago, I'm trying to bring down the average age of the Jaaaag owner here in MN. Most drivers I've seen are quite aged. No offense.

Hah. I know I still haven't come to terms with getting a Jaguar. But it's funny because I can't even afford a new compact Honda, Ford or the likes, but yet I can sit in something classy like a Jag. I really enjoy the car, but don't get to drive it much. I commute an hour everyday to work and thereafter to school. I end up using my beater $750 Nissan instead. Nothing like 40 MPG compared to about 16 MPG. Can't help stepping into the pedal! I’m currently attending University of St. Thomas to get my Masters in Mechanical Engineering. Phew.
