Hi everyone. The time has come when you really, really do need community support for old school jaguars and sourcing components. I am currently restoring a 1988 Jaguar XJS QLD car. I am at the stage of almost body paint. The engine bay painted whilst the engine was out, engine rebuilt, front and rear suspension has been rebuilt including all paint and CAD plated bolts etc. New SS exhaust is half in. I have been going through the electrics atm and have basically got everything sorted including LED dash and light mod. I am looking forward to chatting to you all, and sharing my experience thus far. Cheers.

Hello, Lachy,
Congratulations on all you successful refurbishing work to this point!
When rebuilding your front suspension, I do hope you found Metalastik bushings for the wishbones. I can tell you from my own experience that if you put in any other "OEM Replacements" (poly also works for a long time but destroys ride quality) you might be looking at doing it again in about 3 or 4 years.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
