New XJS Owner
Hi all
Last fall I purchased a 1995 British Green XJS convertible with 94K miles that I found on Craigslist. According to the VIN, it's an early Celebration Edition. I just love the looks of the car. It had been sitting in someone's backyard for a while. As you can see in the pictures, she is in in rough shape, but I couldn't resist the challenge of bringing her back to life. I'm a DIY kind of guy and I have been working on cars for awhile as a hobby. I rescued a 1968 Triumph TR-250, so I know a little about British cars, but I am new to Jaguars. Now that my only child is in college, I have a more time to devote to this project.
And so my journey begins. . . .

Welcome to the forums Don,
Good to have you with us.
I can see you've already found your way to the XJS forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Mid Atlantic Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-mid-atlantic-65/ to find other members in your region.
Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
Enjoy the forums.
