New xk8 owner
Always wanted a v8 since passing my test 9 years ago and finally was in a position to buy one. I looked around at plenty of v8 cars in my small budget but nothing compared to the xk8.
Its a 1998 xk8, 137k miles, jag history to 116k, owner repaired/serviced since then. Paid £3150 with years MOT, no advisories which i thought was an alright deal. Although she's starting to rear her big ugly expensive head now and am having my first real issues under the bonnet! Deep down i fear the head gaskets but it does run great from cold and hot!
Hopefully i'll be able to get some help off hear in months to come.
Cheers, Matt

Welcome to the forum Matt,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I know you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link UK & Eire - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham
