Default New xkr in california

Ok, thought i would never do this...but I just bought a 2007 xkr. I have been living in France (although Im American), and in france I have 2 Mustang fastbacks 67 & 66. The 66 is a K code. They are both incredibly cool and fast cars. Heading back home, it seems I need a more reliable modern car for LA. So I wanted a Sexy car.....and although I probably would have bought a masarati if I could have afforded it, I figure the Jaguar is the next best thing. I have to say, compared to the roar of the Mustangs, the Jag is a lightweight, but it looks nice. I hope its reliable.

Welcome to the forum,

Congrats on the new car!
So you bought US cars in Europe and European cars in the US?

You should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Funny....I wanted to buy american muscle for LA...but the new American muscle car options just seem too popular and uncool. I like the Challenger, but I would get sick of it fast. The new Mustang is really a great car...but there are so many of them in Los Angeles. My Mustangs are really spectacular, but theres no way to drive them in traffic when its 90 degrees or hotter outside. I need reliability (Im hoping like heck that the Jag won't live up to its bad reputation....) I had access to a V12 e type when I was in college...and I think thats the sexiest car ever made. So this is kind of a middle age compromise.
But I will bring one of my mustangs here for weekends...and night rides.

Welcome to this friendly forum.Where did you live in France just out of interest?
Get tired of a Challenger 2? 27 litre 1200 hp Perkins V12?
Impossible. Gets through the traffic like a knife through butter.
