Bought a 2005 x-type in 2008, to reward myself for the birth of my daughter

3.0, White

Major issues:
Previous owner had the windshield replaced which was done improperly and during a heavy rain the car stopped running. Had it towed to a Jag dealer to find out the main computer was soaked in water and had shorted out. Insurance replaced it new for me. No issues after that.

Minor issues:
-One of my OEM wheels had a minute crack - tire would go flat. Replaced it with a refurbished match
- lost a center cap somewhere in my travels. Bought what I though would work of ebay only to find they were cheap junk. Still looking!
- cigarette lighter stopped working - can't charge cell/GPS/etc. would like to rectify this issue.
- front interior post fabric is peeling.

So I'm here for advise and help on the above!

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. Just as well the insurance covered the replacement ECM (main computer). That would be serious money!
