Newbie from Bama
Hi y'all,
I've been vicariously watching Jaguars for most of my life, but I am finally picking up my first one tomorrow. I found a 2008 XJ8 that is in wonderful condition at a price I couldn't turn down, so it will be my new hobby. Any warnings or recommendations are welcome!
A little background: I do know how to turn a wrench. My wife previously owned a Mini, so I have had lots of experience dealing with cantankerous British engineering. I've yet to do a complete overhaul on anything other than a Volkswagen Beetle, but I have taken engines down to the block and brought them back without any problems.
Anyway, thanks to Graham for this site! Looking forward to learning more about my new purchase from you guys.
Cheers,
Dwayne
