Newbie in Chicagoland
Hi all. Already posted in a few threads, so time for the introductions. My wife and I just parted with our '06 Boxster and traded up for an '08 XKR. She's always loved them, as have I. Glad to be in the club. Anyone else in the NW Chicagoland area? I'll be browsing the forums and looking for tips...

Welcome to the forums Carl,
Good to have you with us.
I can see you've already found your way to the X150 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Midwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-midwest-39/ to find other members in your region.
Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham

@LnrB Thanks for the warm welcome. I could arrange a trade if that XJ6 has a leaper on it. THAT is the one missing thing, from my wife's POV. :-)
Leaper? Naa, I'm of the personal opinion that Leapers don't belong on Girl Cars (if it has that Thing out front it's NOT a girl!) They interfere with the sleek lines and sexy curves Sir William envisioned. In fact, if Nix had a Leaper (I have other names for them) when I first saw her, she wouldn't have come to live with me.
But that's just me........
