Newbie, F type dreamer

Hi, new to the forum. Don't have a Jaguar yet but scheming like crazy on how to get an F type, preferably the F type S.
Was driving 'round LA last week with my niece, she was driving and a white F type V8 went past, not being that familiar with these things (not many in NZ) I yelled out "what the hell is that!!!" Couldn't get it off my mind.
Anyway, got back to Auckland, NZ where I live and straight off to the nearest dealer. They had a British Racing Green F type S, a beautiful thing. Test driving it in a couple of days.
Not much Jaguar history in my family but my Dad had a Mk 7 in the early '60s, a very big car and I thought quite heavy but was surprised to see it was about 1680kgs, lighter than my current drive at 1800kgs.
I always loved E types, right from when I was a kid, "rolling sex" the E type was called by a popular magazine 'till the F type took over. I can see why.
My current vehicle is a 2011 Ford (Australia) FPV GTP, has a 5.0L V8 supercharged as stock. FPV claims 335 flywheel kw but actually they're about 360-380kw. I've got mine up to 583 flywheel kw by spending quite a bit with a nearby performance specialist. Is a great engine and can produce huge power safely with work. The engine is actually the US Ford Mustang 302 Coyote engine but FPV have added a super charger and called it the Miami engine. It was built to take a super charger.
Details for power nuts are; 2011 FG GTP 335 S/C. Auto, tiptronic. Ceramic headers, stainless hi flow cats and big bore, BMC filter, X3 tune, DBA T3 brake rotors, Roadhouse Performance pads.100lb injectors, hi flow pump, air to water intercooler, hi boost pulley kit, JLT breather. Hub dynoed at 583fwkw, 486rwkw, 961Nm torque, boost 11.285psi at 3750rpm (tuned back a bit, was a cold day).
Other rides; '94 Nissan Navara 4WD (58kw)
. '07 Triumph Speed Triple. '07 Harley Softail Custom.
Love that vehicle but think the F type is beautiful,

I drove a 4WD for 20 years, and after saving up for like... I dunno, 7 years?? without knowing what I wanted... what I wanted finally found me. Every time this car went by, I was floored (even when I was still spotting it in 2013 and not sure what it was, each time).
This car has gotten into the hearts and minds of car lovers, and it has an ineffable quality that seems to reverberate through the community that needs them. =) Welcome, enjoy, and BRG is (biased) the best!
