Hi Guys
My name is Mark and I have recently bought an XJ6 (X-300) Sport 4.0lt Auto 1997. The car has 106,000 miles (169k) and runs well. No rust but has drooping headlining . I use the car for weekend drives only. I once owned an Series 3 XJ6 4.2Lt 1986..
I have many questions which I will be posting shortly

Follow this link XJ X300 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X300 section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can access all areas of the forum but there are a few restrictions until you have 3 Days membership AND a minimum of 10 Posts. These are:
1. can't start a forum 'garage'
2. can't send forum Private Messages but can receive them
3. can't download PDF's etc stored on the forum servers
The restrictions are a very effective way of discouraging spam and are only a minor inconvenience to new members.

Looks better than mine did 10 years ago!
That reminds me of .......
....... another Jaguar I should have kept.
I always liked the blacked out trim on the UK Sport model in place of the chrome. This wasn't available in the US but some members there have gone to enormous effort to redo their chrome in matt black.
