Newbie in Luxembourg with a 4.2 X150 XK
Hi all,
I've just bought a lovely X150 XK from 2006...slightly higher mileage than I initially had in mind, but a good deal all in all...too good to pass!
About me: I'm a 40 yo, French guy but have been living in Luxembourg for a bit more than 8 years now. My Jag is from Germany and MY 2006. It's a "standard" 4.2, grey with caramel interior (see pics below), which I find to be a very classy combo. It replaces the 2009 2.0 MX-5 I've had for more than 10 years (incidentally, in a similar colour combo), which has a retractable hard top...maybe the feature I'm going to miss the most...
The Jag is currently fitted with 19in Tamana rims, on which I've had winter tyres mounted (yep, it's going to be my daily driver!) this very day. I don't know why the CoC only mentions 18 inchers for winter tyres, but whatever... I'm going to get Senta rims for its summer wheels when spring comes back cuz they're sooooo beautiful!!
And for your viewing pleasure, the said pix:
And given I'm a n00b with the XK, you can be sure I'll be back to pester you with a gazillion questions...so thanks for putting up with me!

Welcome to the forums George,
Good to have you with us.
I can see you've already found your way to the XK/XKR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the Europe Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/europe-42/ to find other members in your region.
Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
Enjoy the forums.
