Angry newbie parrot install problem

hi all just joined ..had a great 2001 xkr for 7 yrs now and based in tamworth . Got a problem that hopefully someone can help with ... i bought a parrot 9100 kit for the car but after going to halfords was told it would be a big problem fitting because of the cars built in amp , so i went to a parrot specialist and he said there was no harness available for pre 2007 xkr's and couldn't fit because of the amp , suggested a 3100 with remote speaker under the seat so it was separate from the amp . But i wanted the 9100 so i could link up to i pod as well as having hands free phone.any help would be much appreciated thx in advance...... nick sorry if in wrong section 1st post

Welcome to the forum R444LFE,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. I'll not even attempt to guess your XKR's registration number.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xk8-xkr-x100-17/ to the XK8/XKR forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Welcome to Jaguar Forums R444lfe,

Good to have you with us.
You are not going to find all the info in one simple place you will need to searc, read and study. It's often better to use google and include jaguarforums.com in the search terms than using the forum search tool.
Here is a good spot to start https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...e4/#post430953
Enjoy the forum.

If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.
