Default newbie, saying hello

hello to all, just bought a 1997 xk8 in aqua marine, picked it up last saturday and drove her 200 miles home and she didnt miss a beat, bought the car as a project and unseen off fleabay, high miles but low owners and a comprehensive jaguar history, needs work which is mainly cosmetics, have booked her in for the rear arches and lower wings to be properly sorted by cutting out the rot and welding in new metal, it was with trepadation that i collected the car but i have not come across anything to overly concern me as yet! the car gets the most comments i have ever had, people love it
