Default Newbie from Scotland!

Hi All. Andy Kirk from Aberdeenshire, Scotland. New member to the forum but I have been using the forum for a good 18 months now and I find it invaluable for any niggles that I may have with my Jag.

This is the first Jag I have owned and opted for the XKR as it reminds me so much of my youth, idolising my late father who, on the day I was born, appeared home with a brand new white E Type DHC, to my mothers dismay “where are we going to put the kids?”. I think that this must have been his escape from us all….

I have had my 2008 XKR now for almost 20 months, which must be a record for me, as I tend to get bored within 6 months and normally change cars! It still manages to put a smile on my face every time I drive it!

Welcome to the forum Andy,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I know you've already found your way to the XK/XKR tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
