Default Newbie X type Owner

Firstly a big hello to everyone on the site. New additional Jaguar Owner to the fold.
Secondly apologies to GGG for being dyslexic in not doing this first! No offence intended.
I am now the proud owner of my new (well 54 plate) Jaguar x type 2.0D sports.
It was the obvious choice for me as with being an ex Mondeo owner it was more or less update my ageing car to one I could trust with the comfort factor now as regularly do Blackpool run from my home in Birmingham. At 50 (ish) comfort is more important.
It has full leather climate control and have taking the original stereo out and fitted with a Double Din with DVD screen and of course a Jaguar Logo to compliment.
I do have one issue with smoke (which is now correctly posted in the x type section if anyone has any suggestions) but on the whole I am over the moon. I have had much done so hope to be of some input to some as well as just passing MOT with just discs and breaks advisory which have now been replaced.
I LOVE MY CAR!!!!
(sorry did I say that loud?)

Welcome to the forum digitallstudios,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. No offence taken.

I can see from your reply you've already found your way to the X-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link UK & Eire - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Ya know, it's too bad you don't like your car! I mean, by all accounts the X-types are fine examples of Jaguarania. You should at least give it a fighting chance. Whadaya say?

It is. We're an International forum and Location is important because Jaguar specifications vary across the World markets. It's more than just LHD/RHD.

Adding City and Country details helps in both giving and receiving advice. There's a 'Birmingham' in Alabama as well as your city in the UK.
