Cool Newbie's from Michigan say Hello!

Hi!
Jeff and Deb from Mich. here! Glad to join the forum. We have had a 2002 X for a while now and we are having some trouble with it. But I have learned a quite a bit about the car and this site has helped me learn how to take good care of the car. GOd only know this thing can be one complicated machine.

anyways, I'm lookin forward to sharing our experience with a Jaguar

Hi, Welcome,

The X is one of my favorites. Wish I had never sold mine. What color?

It's British green! She loves it. Its an eye popper.I have babied this car like baby. Best tires, best brake discs and pads. I have used this forum threads to help me do it all.
But it looks like the car has a problem either with the gearbox or the TCM. **** happens. We are praying, since the problem isn't continuous, just sporatic, that it is a solenoid or something no so costly or, we have to make a big decision about whether we want to risk major problems down the road with this car.

We can't sell, we have too much invested in the car and it isn't cost effective for us to look at anything more going wrong. So say a little prayer for us that this tranny is hiccupping because of some minor or relatively reasonable repair.
