Wow, the Mrs. didn't want the 07 Highlander Hybrid anymore (mom mobile) so she went and bought a 2003 jaguar XKR convertible.
We've had the hotrod for about a year now and I't a conssitant pain in the ***. discrepancies; door switches, reduced perfromance issue, thermostat, leaking hoses to coolant tank and rear 1/4 window regulator /cable trashed--500.00 for the part!!!!.
Now its a Check engine light (intermittent) with a P0193 code , Fuel Rail Presssur sensor (transducer) circuit votage input high.
Wow, I'm an A & P mechanic and we don't have this many squawks on the B737s !!!. Plus-- I can't find a manual to save my *****. typical British stuff- yeah I worked on rolls royce engines that were garbage too.
i guess I'm going to the poor house with this car but I'll do my best to keep it running for the Mrs. I'm just NOT into cars anymore ( love my AR hight Power service and match rifles, my builds.
Hope to share some ups and downs with all on this site. Cheers, Ron

Welcome audreyjag,
Sounds as though you are a reluctant jaguar forum member. The good news here is, there are lots members here who know Jags pretty well. If you need help or advice, this is the place. Many Jag techs, so dive in if you have questions.
Most here, love their Jags and are a friendly bunch. I, myself, had an '03 xkr, so I know where you're coming from. Having said that, once they are sorted, can be a very reliable, fun, and reasonably fast car. Hang in there, it gets better.

Welcome to this friendly Forum and Therapy Centre.
So far you seem to have had just the normal minor problems, there are some really interesting ones still to come so set your browser default to
XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
As Darrell says there are some real experts around to help.
In defence of British engineering - without the Rolls Royce Merlin European history would have had a slightly different outcome.
