Been reading posts for a while now, needed to post so here I am! Always wanted an XJ8 but never thought I was old enough (hah!) now I am. 2004 XJ8 had a hard life but I'm here in her old age to look after her. Just went through 131k this morning.

I can see you have already found your way to the X350 tech section with the headlamp issue so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

HA, 131K, just run in, Junior.

One of our V12's is just topping 500K Kms, and never been touched, and I am not about to.

You and HER will have an interesting time, been there done that, would not change it for Quids.
