Now a Jaguar Owner
My dad had a couple of XJ6s when I was a kid. He loved Jags especially the old XK120-150 models. Those were beautiful cars, I admit. I have been looking for a fun car and as fate would have it, I found a 1997 Jaguar XK8 that has been sitting for the better part of 2 years. I talked with the lady who owned it and we came to an agreement. Now I'm anxious to get it back on the road. Perhaps I can get it running tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Welcome to the forum XK897,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
After standing for two years, there WILL be some electrical challenges. Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xk8-xkr-x100-17/ to the XK8/XKR forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
Your Location looks like it could be a US Zip Code? If so, Google suggests it's in South Carolina so you can also visit the US Lower Atlantic Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...r-atlantic-66/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
