Now onto Jag Number 9
I've lived in York in England now for over 30 years, although originally from the West Country, and growing up in Surrey.
I've had a Jag thing ever since my best friend's dad bought a Mark10, and then had a 420G. There was something about them which obviously came to a pinnacle with the E-Type, which for me is sex on wheels.
I've had two XJS coupes, both 3.6, but the first with a manual box, which was fun, an X300 XJR, an X308 XJR which I sold to my father, who had it for four years and then sold it back to me, and which my wife now drives, my father's X300 3.2 Sport (we kind of did a swap), an X308 4ltr in black and de-chromed (to replace my father's 3.2 which was, compared to the X308, dreadful), which looked magnificent when clean (rarely) but drank fuel without the sparkle of the supercharged unit, then an X-Type 2lts diesel, which was very adequate and did silly MPG, but was a bit Mondeoish so swapped it for an S-TYpe 2.7 diesel which was a saga from start to finish, so replaced it with my current X350 3ltr V6 Sovereign which is just lovely.
I've found the forum really useful when checking out some of the little exentricities of owning a Jag and their love of the occasional spurious warning light, so keep up the good work and good luck to you all.

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I can see you've already found your way to the X350 tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
