My name is Allan and i became a proud owner of a 2012 XF base with the 5.0.in Racing Green
in 2017. I purchased the car in Dana Poing, CA. I live in eastern Mass. I've taken my XF on a few trips
out west, including Park City, UT, the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Glacier Natl Park, Colorado, etc.....
it's been pure joy to drive it everywhere.
Looks like a great forum. Look forward to learning more about these cars and your nice rides.

Wow such a warm welcome thank you.
The XF is at the shop today getting its first H20 pump and crossover pipe replacement.
Car was bleeding fluid at ~90k miles.

Must be some kind of record. Mine is on its fourth at only 51K miles. But welcome aboard even tho I'm jealous.

i'll try to get a report from the dealer to make sure this was the original H2O pump that was replaced.
Dana in Upton Mass did a complete H20 and all pipes, saved me nearly a grand over the local dealer.
This is his number for anyone looking to have quality work.....

I give him 10/10 for price/customer service.

Glad you were able to get a good price on the work. I'm not sure what the going rate is for that rear crossover pipe labor-wise, but that was a tough DIY job, just getting to it. I wouldn't do it for cheap...

As a satisfied customer, you should post this in US Northeast Region forum. Good Independents are few and far between.
