Old But Not New!

Old But Not New!
Retired entrepreneur (don't tell my wife as the "Honey Do" list is already too lengthy!)
First Jag was a 1969 BRG XKE that threw a rod within the first 6,000 miles and sat and sat and sat, as I could not afford to repair it!
Since then I have ventured back to Jaguars and since my first 1998 S-Type I have never looked back . . . .
Wish they had not changed the style of the grill after 2003, but no one ever asked me for my opinion!
About to take delivery on a 2014 XJ 5.0 Liter V8 550 HP, as it is part of my Bucket List. Incredible power and most impressive. Absolutely fell in love with the 'sexy' shifter knob. Might even allow my wife and I to hold hands as we cruise down the freeway, without having to keep our arms in awkward positions?!?!?! F-Type would be ok if I were having a mid-life crisis and never needed to carry anything from the grocery store!
In the process of pickling a 2003 BRG S-Type 4.2 for my 7 year old grand daughter - she refers to it already as 'my Jaguar'. Going to have to wait until she is old enough to receive it without her scumbag father stealing it from her
Friends tell me that I am crazy - that she will not want it 18 to 20 years from now, but they just plain nuts!
