Cool Old Jaguar Owner

Hi all,
Glad to find this forum since I do all my own maintenance. I cut my teeth on a 1963 E-Type roadster which I bought in boxes for $500 from an owner that gave up on putting it back together. I had it for 13 loving years, upgraded from a 3.8L to 4.2L which I overhauled before fitting it to the car. Eventually sold it to my brother who had been Jonesing for it for 12 yrs. I now own a 1993 XJ40 which I bought in Littleton, CO with 51k on the ODO (Dec 1998). Odo Feb 2014 166K. Daily driver is a 1994 XLT Ford Ranger. Also drive a 1976 Porsche 911S Targa that I bought from my brother after he sold the XKE and bought the 911 after 3 yrs because the maintenance expense was too much.

Welcome, Philip! Our '93 XJ40 has done 195K and I've done a lot of work in preparation for our assault on 250K!

I'll see you in the XJ40 forum.

Cheers,

Don
