Default Oldie newbie

had many Jaguars XJS/ S Type/ XJ's XK8/ XKR all of which have been great with nothing more than servicing in the main to keep them healthy.
My latest challenge is my XJR which has decided it is going to be a complete pain in the rear and challenge my patience like no other Car I have owned.
8 months in I have had a Gearbox Service done, it needed a new main ECU a number of ignition coils, sensors etc. Just having a service at the moment and new belts fitted and at the same time cure the heating system sorted as it is blowing cold on one side and the drivers headlight not working but hey having had no problems with my previous Cars I am considering Karma catching me up

its an XJR and its killing me

Welcome to the forums John,

I had a "temperamental" X308 a few years ago. A rogue Jaguar can be very trying!

I can see you've already found your way to the X350 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also use the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Hello,
Congratulations on your Latest Jaguar; even if it has turned out to be a PIA.
Blame the Previous Owner for Deferred Maintenance. That's what I always do.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
