Hey all, Just found the site and joined. Have a 1998 XK8 that just encountered a convertible hydro leak. Have owned the car since 2000, Love it! Bought it from an auction of gov. confiscated cars, in NC. Live in Austin Tx, grew up in England. Helped my cousin restore a '60 Jag sedan, Mark II when I was about 12. Mostly just passed him tools! Had an E-type back in England in early '80s, miss it but too many elec. probs. Always loved Jags!

Welcome to the forum Rich, you'll find plenty of reading about convertible hydro leaks and various solutions over in the XK8 section.

Hope you get things sorted.

Thanks all, Just had the hose kit replaced. Not too bad. Cleaning out all the hydro fluid is tough. Probably have some seekage for a week or two. Hopefully the newer kit is more durable.
