Proud to finally own a Jaguar XJL!
Hi, I'm Richard. I have come from an Audi A8 4.2tdi which was...very good at it's job, I suppose. It was impressive but had no real soul. I have wanted a 'proper 'Jag since I used to travel in an XJ40 occasionally with my Uncle, who was a chauffeur a long time ago. They were always the proper luxury cars to me, the Audi was just a very good car but not exactly desirable in my opinion. I have yet to take delivery of my XJL 3.0d which I was fortunate enough to find at a Jaguar dealer, so it comes with a 24 month approved warranty. Even though it's a 2015 car, it was one of the 2016 facelift models Jaguar was proudly displaying in the dealership (apparently) back in 2015, so it has nearly every extra. For some reason they started with a Premium Luxury so it misses out on the suede headlining of the Portfolio but otherwise it's specced up amazingly well. I did a build on the jag website and it would have be over £91k new. Ironically, it would have been cheaper had they started with the Portfolio.

I paid just under £25k, which is high when you look at the trade-in price for this car but that's because 'webuyanycar' is not allowing for the £20k+ options it has. Obviously WBAC is always low but I tend to use it to find out how much dealers have marked up their cars. Virtually every option has been added, ncluding the excellent Reference audio, entertainment and top rear seat pack, driver aids etc. The alloys are a bit boring but they can be changed (if I can be bothered). It might not have the extra blue lighting but I might be mistaken - I will have to wait until I get it to find out.
Hope I haven't bored you but as you can tell, I'm excited at the prospect of getting my hands on this fabulous car!
I look forward to sharing my experiences with other like-minded people.
