We're a friendly international forum. We do like to know which model members drive and where they are and based. This information also helps make replies relevant as specifications vary significantly around the World. If you look at 'views' for threads in the Intro forum you'll see they get a lot of hits from other members. (214 Views for yours as I write this).
I can see you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
