Returning to Jag ownership. 1996 XJS 4.0 Coupe
Not exactly new, Returning to Jag ownership after six years with a 1996 XJS 4.0 Celebration Coupe RH Drive. Previously I have owned a XJ6 Manuel and 1996 XJR6. Having retered from Aerospace I now have the time to devote to maintaining and upgrading the XJS. The car has just rolled over 100K and was Dealer serviced for the first 95K. I like problem solving, lerning new things, "How dos that work" and adding to the life long collection of tools. Currently looking to add an OBD 2 reader to the tool kit. Based in Blackpool UK.

Welcome to the forum!
I hope you're as lucky as I was, falling upon the 93' AJ6 for the xj-6 93-94 being the best years for that car and model!
I'm still learning the compatibility of the engine, years, and their differences. But this mighty Inline Six looks to be straight out of a tank!
I wish you all the luck a mechanic could have, Hope you find the information you're looking for.
