Hi All,
The X-type has been dead for a couple of years now and the longing grows stronger, so we are now looking for a new Jag.
Probably an XJR, probably 2004, although a friend has a cheap 1997 version.
I need to get up to speed on what to look for and the differences from year to year. Then I need to get the car, then I need to get out on some cruises.
Have fun, speak to you all soon.
John

It's true, isn't it. Once you get a taste, you just can't stay away.

Welcome, John.

Yeah, I know about the no such thing as a cheap Jaguar.
In 1995 I bought a 1980 Daimler Double Six for 575 pound, took it to the local dealer for some trim clips that it needed and while I was there I asked the service department for a quote for a service, should I do it myself or treat the car to a dealer service.
They quoted 585 for a service.
I did it myself.
