Hi all and a very Happy New year
Only just joined so finding my way around, I am the new proud owner of2001 2.5 V6 petrol XType the model I have is the base type ie elec windows at front manual in back. She did look a drive superbly until the other night when my foot sliped off the break pedal and on to the throttle and to make matters worse then said foot got traped under pedal and sent me flying into kurb as I was on a roundabout at the time.
Damage was wheel destroyed steering tie rod bent lower wishbone twisted and ripped from ball joint anti roll bar drop link bent disc shattered and rear hub bent. Repair bill in parts 200 quid but 96 quid was on set of 4 new discs and pads by mitex.

The rest of parts are coming by way of Xtype parts .com though im still awaiting confirmation of despatch/delivery parts were ordered on 30.12 and though ive phoned no answer emailed no responce FB message no reply.
Im hoping its just that they are still closed for hollidays.
Has anyone on here had dealings with them that could give me a heads up on company
Thanks in advance rob

Hi and welcome aboard, its good to have you here with us here at Jaguarforums

Re Xtypeparts question - I am aware of several people who have had serious issues getting in touch, or any response from them, parts either landing very very late or not at all.
Just my 2c worth but I'd be wary in any dealings in future with them.

If you need any further help with the site moving forward, please just ask any moderator, veteran member and we'll be glad to assist.
