Season's Greetings from Las Vegas

Been a lurker for a few months, but decided to join now that my inclusion in the Jaguar fraternity is official.
Yep, Christmas came a few weeks early for me. As a working professional who has driven an early 2000s Toyota 4 banger for the last 12 years, all whilst Mrs. Loyter has upgraded from sedan, to bigger sedan, to minivan as our family has grown, it was finally my turn to get some new wheels.
I'll admit, I did not start out looking at Jags. I wanted a luxury ride, but I also wanted something different from those 3-4 cars that seem so prevalent amongst my peers. So even though I test drove a few of them, the A6 and the 5 series were never really in the running. And I just find Benzes to be blah, nice as they may be. I looked at the Lexus G series and some Infiniti models, but i've really been leaning towards something European, so those weren't really scratching the itch.
I don't remember exactly how I ended up looking at Jags, but I'm so glad I did. I immediately fell in love with the styling and features. After test driving various XJ and XF models (and learning that the XJ is too long for parking spot in the garage) I ended up with a 2013 XF 3.0 Supercharged with 14k miles. It's in fantastic condition and is so much fun to drive.
I already had some minor electrical issues, but they were all battery related. The battery was replaced under the manufacturer's warranty, so that was a nice cheap fix.
Anyway, looking forward to many more posts here and benefiting from the wealth of Jag knowledge on this board.
