Default self installing a leaper

Considering self installing a leaper on a 2013 XJ. Any issues or problems I should be aware of?

Follow Norri's link to the X351 tech section for help, advice and information.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

My gut reaction? Only opinions... ! Seriously, though; self-installing holes into the hood of such a magnificent sheet of metal? Your nerves would have to be stronger than mine. But, boy will we be impressed when you do!

The cost of a new hood might be good to know Just kidding. The XJ is one beautiful car. Congrats.
