Shiny New 1st Time Jaguar Owner
Good day chaps and chapettes! Mark here from the shore of beautiful Wind Lake, WI, 20 miles SE of Milwaukee. I am stoked to pick up my newest obsession tomorrow morning - a 2003 XJ Sport in Black with 56K miles. She is pristine, bonnet to boot, and has an interesting history of being hidden away in a barn for a while during a bankruptcy proceeding.
I'm glad I found this forum - an invaluable resource for us lovers of unique metal rolling sculpture. I recently did a frame off restoration of a 74 Moto Guzzi to period cafe racer configuration and the Guzzi forum provided much needed info and encouragement.
If y'all are looking for a great road trip destination around Milwaukee, please stop by my dining and drinking establishment, Sportsman's Landing, on Wind Lake. Sportsmans Landing Wind Lake Restaurant Bar Destination Fish Fry Happy Hour. I'll buy you a beer!
I look forward to many miles and smiles and hopefully not too many challenges with my new cat!
Cheers,
Mark
