Default So I took the plunge.

Hmmm, I really hate doing these intro threads, so forgive me if I start to waffle.

My name is Bryan, and I'm a controls engineer based in Nottingham.

I picked up my first Jag a couple of days ago, it's a 98 XK8 in British Racing Green and having googled a couple of minor issues it has, I've ended up here. There appears to be a wealth of information available and I shall be abusing the search function I'm sure.

I've moved over from the Japanese vehicles, having been driving a Nissan Stagea for the last 4 years. Compared to that, the XK8 seems almost as quick, but feels nowhere near as frantic. I'm loving the way it just wafts along at a rate of knots without feeling particularly fast.

Np pictures of it yet, I feel I need a less grey time of year to do it justice really, hopefully I'll have some time at the weekend to get some during daylight hours if the sun burns through the constant clouds.
