Spoiled by an F-Type in Seattle
This is my first Jag, a 2014 F-Type V8 S in Italian Racing Red. Not my first convertible or my first red two-seater but a very different car from the other two. I'm loving its dual personality, how it can be a proper gentleman - quiet and civilized, ready to be valet parked at a nice restaurant - or a mischievous kitten - raucous and spirited when it pounces on a gap in traffic or roars up a mountain road. It's also just utterly beautiful from every angle and as every F-Type owner knows, makes some truly glorious noises. 🎶
I bought it from a dealer in Texas who shipped it up to me in August and have been lurking on the forum soaking up information but am just now posting this.. 🤷♂️ I haven't found anything yet I need to change about it, but I am still digging into how the maintenance will work and trying to be prepared, as I like to work on my own cars whenever possible. My local dealer did an inspection and gave me a list of a few things to be ready for, starting with the rear brakes. Since that requires negotiating with the computer to release the EPB I'm trying to get a working SDD software setup. I'd also really like to adjust the headlights higher. But no major complains after 3 months, it's a fantastic car!

Welcome to the forums schuss,
Good to have you with us. Not often we get an action photo posted.
I can see you've already found your way to the F-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. You can also use the US Northwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-northwest-64/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.

I'm in this fantastic regional drivers' club called Avants (Seattle, Portland, Denver chapters so far) that plans events for us all the time, and staffs them with photographers to get pictures like this for everyone who attends. I'll have lots more next season I'm sure - the F-Type and I are signed up for a couple of weekend rallies next summer already.
Here's another one

And also I spent a couple hours today at a car photo studio - another opportunity arranged by the Avants club - getting portraits taken. This is just my iPhone while they were shooting, I'll post the real shots when I get them. I'm so excited about it, the car is so beautiful and they really loved it and knew how to make the lines and curves shine!
