Thank you. Read the notes. Jaguar 2009 XKR Coupe, Vapour Grey, 5.0 supercharged, 515 BHP, bought 2011 1/2. Own servicing, suspension set up for Falken tyres within factory spec, one careful previous lady owner [really ! -- no marks on cream interior ] SussexBob near RYE East Sussex, retired engineer, member of two classic car clubs. The sest is mostly set for my wife, advanced driver, to drive while I follow in a VW Golf Estate type R 4 motion 305 PS [ almost as quick].
I have followed the uk and usa jaguarforums.com for some time and hope to become a full member here.

Regards

Yes my wife Sue is a keen driver just passed the advanced test. A powerful car would remind her of youthful ownership of Leyland Sports cars [ though not with 500BHP]

Much to her apprehension of my modyfying a 4.4 litre 5 series BMW, expecting it to be manic to handle, I put on a supercharger developed by Steve Dinan down the road in Ca and also sold by "Hans" in Oslo. It developed an ectra 30% plus power at 405 BHP with no handling difficulties over the 13 years of fault free running. No other mods excpt oil cahanes to the supposidly sealed for life transmission.

So a Jaguar Coupe seemed like a reasonable replacement. Of course there is a downside as I am the service mechanic and she is recieving as much attention as the car!

SussexBob Local Petrolhead [ Of corse I need not mention that the men and women scientists/engineers at the Defence Department where I worked were all of equal ststus. At the local Car shows where we take our 1934 small Lagonda we tried to set up a ladies enthuiasts section. Reluctant, pity]

Thank you. We have friend in South Carolina. I was not too far away on a company visit and thought the area quite upmarket.
