Default Thinking of a 2002 03 XKR-Help??

Hi, never owned a Jag. Always have loved the looks of the XKR and Im 5 11 230 so I dont fit into smaller cars well. Live in washington state so a convertable doesnt make sense. Thinking of a XKR that I can own for maybe 2 to 3 years and drive maybe 6k a year. What mileage should I look for and problems to avoid?

Hello and welcome,

I'm also 5 11 and height is not a problem with the coupe. The driver's seat adjusts for height as well as reach, back angle and lumbar so you should certainly be able to get a comfortable driving position. If you've never owned a Jag before, once behind the wheel it's likely you won't want to get out anyway

Automatic steering wheel positioning is an option but makes getting in and out a lot easier.

Convertables seem to outnumber coupes by a long way for the US owners here so you may have to look around for longer to find the right car.

Welcome to the forum.

I think that I would be looking to drive it more than 6k a year.

Best of luck with your search.
