Third time's a charm
I am new to the forums, but have owned two Jags prior to this one (06 XJR). The first one was a 76 XJ12L, which my wife burned to the ground on the third day I owned it
The second one was a 80 XJS that blew a lower hose and warped the driver's side head one month after I bought it.
Not one to give up, I waited nearly twenty years until my better half would let me try again. I just purchased the XJR and am confident it will last a lot longer than the others.
I have always enjoyed British cars, and have owned several MG Midgets, B's and Triumphs in the interim.
Seeing the advances Jaguar has made over the last ten years or so has really given me pause. They were always luxury cars, but the level of refinement is unsurpassed by any other car I have driven.
