Been reading Jaguar forums for years and finally have my own 1997 XK8. Wanted to be a part of your community. I started with a New 1978 MGB GT then on to a 1980 MGB. Frame up restoration of a 67 Triumph TR4 in 1988. Took a break to raise kids and make some money. Now I’m back in the restoration business. Too old to crawl under a car anymore so my 97 included a 2 post lift. Makes me want to fix things that aren’t even broken! So far have rebuilt rear suspension, replaced cam cover gaskets and replaced steering column (not a pleasant experience). Front suspension is next. Couldn’t have done any of this without reading posts on the forum.

You've obviously already found your way to the XK8/XKR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Southern Midwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...rn-midwest-67/ to find other members in your region.
Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
