From a toy to a cat
Well, I finally had to get rid of my dream car that took me 4 years to build. It was a 2003 MR2 Spyder turbo. I built it from a girly car to what the car should have looked and acted like from the factory. It was an absolute blast to drive at the local autocross events and the Dragon but she didn't get used much because I'm a family man now so I had to let her go with great remorse. Here she is:
Now, I had to decide on a 4 door but I hate slow. So I started shopping M5's and then I came across the Jag. BMW's are a great car but I'm not a fan of how they project who the driver is. I've always liked cars that didn't follow the crowd so the Jag struck my interest. The only thing that bothered me was how much the Kia looks like the S-type. But not with the STR. It looks so much more purpose built with the darker headlights and taillights, the mesh grill, the upgraded brakes and wheels, etc. It caught my eye so I purchased this one from a police officer in Ft. Lauderdale. I'm going to pick it up next week on Thursday and here she is:
