Transmission Fault ABS Failure DSc warnings

Hello! Today I got a few amber lights show up and I think jag went into limp mode. I have a 2007 Jaguar XJ8. After sitting in 90 degree heat, car had 3 amber warnings- ABS Not Available, Transmission Fault, DSC unavailable.
I had rabbits eat the wiring and had it fixed in 2011.
Does anyone know of this issue? Is it transmission or electric? I need new front tires for sure.
Care went into limp mode but was able to drive home. Odometer did not move but accelerator showed it was shifting.
Did not heat over mid point but braking was a bit tougher and accerating was more jagged.
Any thoughts??

Hi Roxanne
Since your wire repair, have you had any other issues since? It's not uncommon to get multiple warnings when one part of the system has a fault as its all on a network.
My recommendation is to have the battery tested and check the codes. Then post the results back here so we can help you.

Welcome to the forum Roxanne,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
ABS/DSC not available would account for the braking difference and limp mode restricts engine revs so this would account for the acceleration.
Unless the rabbits have been at the wiring again, it's unlikely to be related after six years. Spurious electronic faults and messages on a Jaguar are often the sign or a partially discharged or failing battery. Even though it's only 4 months old, you should have this checked first.
The first step in troubleshooting is to have the DTC's (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) read. Any stored codes will help find the cause. In the US, places like Pepboys do this free of charge. if you do this, post the codes (not any descriptions they say they mean) back here for advice on wht they actaully do mean.
Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-x350-x358-28/ to the X350 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
