Default Trying to register as a new member?

I do not belong to any "social networks" and do not want to under any conditions. I'm just trying to fulfill new membership registration requirements...but I can't figure out how to do that?

Purchased 2, 2011 Jaguars on May 9, 2011. XKR for me, XJL for my wife. First trip on the XJL trying to use the Navigation system was a nightmare...after it kept telling us to get off every exit on the highway...which got old quickly. Finally had to shut it off. My wife drives the XJL a lot...easily 3k a month. Coming off her Mercedes CL55 AMG she has started to "hate" the Jaguar because of the Nav system flaws...and the telephone system that she uses constantly because of business calls. IF she is on a call...the Nav system command system will not work. The dealer doesn't have a clue except to tell us to drive over to them for a "Tutorial" The dealer is an hour and a half away.

My XKR, besides the Nav system that couldn't get me home if I was a few miles from my house, had a complete system failure of the screen, radio,
Nav, you name it a few days ago. After driving home to the sounds of silence...waited a few hours...wait back to the garage and started the car...and it was "normal" Then the "service" light came on...and rear drivers side "tire pressure" light. No way to reset them...the dealer sent a loaner, picked up the car, and did a full one year maintenance on it--less than 2k miles and purchased May 9th. Go figure?

As we all know, beautifully designed car line...real show stoppers. But the "software" etc...is a mess...and Jaguar national service is polite but clueless. These poor Service Techs have never been in a new Jaguar let alone tried to learn the systems.

Like most of you have had our share of BMW's and Mercedes etc. In fact, my interim car for the last year was a Ford SHO...and it was flawless.

If this message goes some place to be read...maybe someone can tell me how to officially introduce myself etc? Thank you.

Hello Stuart and welcome to jaguarforums.com. I know that you are anxious to get started and we are anxious to meet you and talk about your car. We have a baseline / criteria that must be met before full access can be granted. Please enjoy the forum and be patient once the baseline has been satisfied full access will be granted. Please continue to post and accept my welcome to the forum.

One other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.

Also, should you have questions related to your vehicle please post it in the section for your model year (MY) car. This way you will reach all the members that are familiar with your MY car.
