I'm Mike Applegate, owner of a 1999 XK 8 convertible. As a teen I bought my first Jaguar wrecked, but fixed it drove it to High School. It was a 55 XK 140 DHC. Reminded of it at my 50year Re-union, I bought the 99. My project now is replacing the top hydraulics. Prior to that, I replaced the rear passenger window regulator. So its a work in progress, but driven regularly. Forum is very helpful. have owned MG TD, TF and B. Austin Healey 3000, Spitfire, and retro Pacific Coast Roadster TBird.
