Utterly new to the world of jags! But willing to learn :)
Hello Guys!
Well, my first bump on the forum :-) My friend recently purchased a very nice late 94 Daimler 4.0 with low miles! Regency Red and a Cream Interior!
The body is straight as an Arrow and with little to no beauty marks at all! The price was good and it was love at first sight so we took the battle ship home
We both drive audi 80's as daily drivers and i maintain them myself, the intention is to do only minor maintenance and tinkering on the jag and leave the big work to the professionals It was imported from Italy in 2010 and has always been an indoor sleeper and will stay an indoor sleeper
The big cat is very nice and runs smooth, it has had good maintenance and shows little signs of age or wear, except for a few wrinkles in the front leather seats and a few broken lights under the switches in the centre console
I'll post pictures soon! in the mean time I've read up on a lot of forum posts and collected the various books, maintenance records, part catalogues and workshop manuals to assist me in my quest! Another Flying Dutchman to add to the bunch
For now the car got a fresh MOT, it will have a big fluids service somewhere in June and it just got a fresh battery and a new CD Mag We've replaced all the light bulbs in the center console with new ones (I just bought miniature light bulbs and twisted them back in the fittings myself, easy job but takes some time ) So now we can fully enjoy all the switched and lights again!
Kind Regards
Sonny & Stefan

Welcome to the forum Sonny & Stefan,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I can see you've already found your way to the XJ40 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the Europe Region forum by following this link Europe - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
