Default V8 conversion. I have been driving my 1986 XJS coupe for about 20 years now,

the last 15 have been with my 454 Chevy passenger car engine. I did all my own work with the conversion and have had absolutely no problems. Tons of torque and only the 1st 1/4 inch of throttle needed. Gm t400 trans. Use big block Corvette headers and everything else is a bolt in. I highly recommend this swap if you have an ailing v12. Great for spanking those Toyotas.
