Good evening everyone.
I'm a big car geek, and I recently went to an estate sale looking for furniture.
Instead I came home with a Jaguar.
It's a 2004 S-Type 3.0 V6, 90,000 miles on it, clean as can be, spotless interior.
The negative is it has been sitting 3 years.
It was parked on a concrete driveway and no where near any trees, so outside of needing a REALLY good washing, it's in good shape.
It turns over and would start with starter fluid, but not run.
I've already drained the old gas and replaced it, but still not starting.
Since it'll run on starter fluid, I obviously have spark and air.
I got a service manual, and I'm concentrating on fuel issues.
If any of you fine folks have had a similar issue, I'd be glad to hear suggestions.
Thanks to all!

Welcome to the forums vsp4717,
I've moved your post from my *New members - a MUST read if you have just signed up* thread to a new Intro thread of your own.
Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...ed-v8-x200-15/ to the S-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Mid Atlantic Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-mid-atlantic-65/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
