Default Walter

Hello to all and great to become a new member

Bit of a quick question , I am about to purchase an X type 2.0 d estate with a full service history up to 116,000 miles should I worry if the rear accessory drive belt (PAS) has not been carried out ?

The last service was carried out at 102,000 miles

I come from Glasgow and have owned few various Jags in the past

XJ 6 series 2, XJ 6, XJ 8, XK8 and yes even the XJ 40

Kindest regards walter

Welcome to the forum Walter,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

The rear accessory drive belt (PAS) is a 10 year or 100K Mile (whichever comes soonest) scheduled replacement item. Odd that it was missed at the 102K service but probably not too much to worry about.

Follow this link X-Type - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X-Type forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Welcome.

I agree with Graham. Not a major issue, but I would do it at the first chance you get.
