Default A warm hello from Scotland

New to the forum having finally got around to buying an X100 XKR after years of admiring them. The grin is wide and glued on. I must say the forum really helped me research the car well enough I hope to have avoided most pitfalls. I have gone for the 4.2 coupe as late a model as I could find reasonably with good history and then negotiated with the dealer for a preventative trip to the paintshop to do the arches, window trims and those rubber coated alloy window drip edges which are just barely starting to bubble. BBS Montreals getting powdercoated locally with new outer alloy rims from english supplier (www.sbwheels.co.uk). The detailer and leather valet should have the car pristine and I take delivery hopefully end of this week.
can hardly wait!

If all goes well I hope to tackle the satnav update, replacing with a modern unit in the dash. Will take lots of pictures and share the outcome.
Cheers
Derek
