The servo is the booster isn't it? JEPEC uses both terms.

Welcome to the forum Kanellian,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
Follow Norri's link in post #2 to the S-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
Enjoy the forums.

Servo. Booster. You say po-tay-toe I say po-tah-toe. The terms are often used interchangeably.
I wonder what Jaguar 'officially' calls it in the parts catalog?
I'd certainly challenge the warranty company on this. Ask them to define what they mean by 'servo".
Cheers

Sorry what does '65 plate' mean?
The last S-type was produced in 2008 so would be long out of factory warranty.
Generally, a booster is the same as a servo, simply different terminology. All S-types had a servo/booster.
