Well, hello.

Well, hello.
I'm Robert, I am a Ford dealer technician and small shop owner, and I live in Lawton, Oklahoma. I usually buy cars to repair and resell, or to keep myself and use them to attract business. I usually stick to American-made cars, or something I'm familiar with. Well, my fiancée, bless her heart, came across an '89 Jaguar XJS V-12, and the owner, who is one of her co-workers, offered to sell it to her and I for $500. As I was assessing fire damage and other problems, she agreed to the deal. So now we have a new cat. We're researching parts right now, but we haven't decided if we're going to try to get it running ( it had a small engine/electrical fire under the hood, but no major damage) or part it out. And that is why I'm here: to pick brains and gather information. I'll get some pictures of it at some point and share them here.
